What you can build, and how.

The jobs people come here to do, and what the builder does about each of them.

Two ways to work out a number

Everything on this site comes down to one choice. Either you write the arithmetic here, in a formula editor that takes Excel-style syntax and the functions you already know — PMT, IF, VLOOKUP, dates, text, the lot — or you connect a Google Sheet and let the formulas already in it do the work.

The second one is worth understanding even if you do not need it yet. Most businesses already have the logic written down: a pricing sheet, a rate card, a quoting model somebody built years ago and everyone trusts. Rewriting that into a website form is where these projects usually die. Connecting it instead takes about ten minutes, and when the prices change you change them where you always did.

Either way, what you get is a form your visitors fill in and a number they came for — embedded on your own site, or on a page of its own with a link you can send. What you do with the enquiry afterwards is the rest of this list: email it, post it to your CRM, add it to a spreadsheet, or send back a PDF quote on your own letterhead.

Not sure which you need? Start from a template and change it, or read the documentation.
