How it works

  1. 01
    Build it

Start from a template or a blank canvas and add the questions, formulas and results you want.

  2. 02
    Publish

Press Publish and copy the embed snippet.

  3. 03
    Paste it into Shopify

Into an HTML block, as described above.

Where the snippet goes

  • On a page: click the </> button in the rich text toolbar to switch to HTML, then paste.
  • In a theme: add a Custom Liquid section where you want it to appear.
Watch out

Paste into the HTML view, not the formatted one. The rich text editor will otherwise show your customers the code instead of the calculator.

A Custom Liquid section puts the calculator on every page using that template — useful for a shipping estimator that should appear on every product page rather than on one.

What you get

Nothing to install

There is no plugin, app or extension to install. The snippet is the whole integration. Nothing is added to your Shopify site, so there is nothing to update and nothing to conflict with.

It fits the space it is given

The frame reports its height as the visitor moves through the calculator, so you never have to guess a height or leave a gap under it.

Republish and every copy updates

Change a price or a formula and every page you pasted it into shows the new version. You do not go back and edit those pages.

Or skip the embed entirely

Every calculator also has a full-page link of its own, so you can send it in an email or put it behind a button without embedding anything.

Questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. Shopify accepts HTML in pages and in Custom Liquid sections, which is all the snippet needs. Nothing is installed in your store and there is no second monthly fee.

Can I put it on every product page?

Yes. Add a Custom Liquid section to the product template rather than to one page, and it appears on every product using that template.

Can it read my product prices?

Not automatically. You can keep prices in a connected Google Sheet, which is easy to update in bulk, or fetch them from an API with the API Connector.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. It renders in its own frame, so it is unaffected by your theme and unaffected by theme updates.
